Penalverne Estate was built in the early 1930s. The entire land was purchased from Col. Bolitho for £8,000 in March 1932.

Built on the grounds of Treneere Manor at a at cost of £146,000 in April 1937. The land was rumoured to be purchased for as little as £8,000. Built by contractors E. Dennis and son, and the roads and sewers by contractors Northcott and Sons of Exeter.
Building Treneere Estate
Gwavas Estate was built in 1936 by E. Dennis and Sons of Camelford. The contract to build the estate was tendered for the total sum of £79,131 and work began in 1937 one year before Treneere Estate.
