Sennen Cove

My OH, who grew up in the Cove in 1950s, found this print in family memorabilia. We have no information about it.
I can see Badgery Terrace, (perpendicular to the road) in the distance and, moving forwards, the end of what is probably Nile house and another house, (possibly Rose Cottage). In the foreground is the Mission House, I haven't been able to find dates for this but I've seen a picture of it in the 1890s (The Book of Sennen) and I would guess this picture was taken around the turn of the last century. I'd have thought the costume clear enough to date it if anyone has the expertise.
In the background there seem to be two daymarks on the cliff near the site of one of the WW2 pill-boxes and may be the chimney of a cottage around about the top of the slip at the bottom of Cove Hill
I am guessing OH = wife. A truly remarkable picture. Was the low viewpoint deliberate, I wonder, or was it the result of a hand held camera of some type? I would go along with c1895-1905.

I take it that you have looked at the poulty-towers.co.uk / sennencove / sch1.htm site; a lot of old pictures and memories there.

Yes, thanks Treeve. I ve looked there and elsewhere in books and online. Nothing which I can find that is dated reliably has enough common detail to help with dating. But I ll keep trying.
