HH, thanks, I am just fortunate that these came down through the family. I am very appreciative of the opportunity to share the pictures passed on to me as well as a few of my own.
 
BTW, if you search for Sunderland Site and South America you will find far better pictures than I have of South America and the Abertay. . (The Sunderland Site has a great deal of information about that town and, unsurprisingly, much of it relates to ship building and ships.)
