Yes - that s right! A fine set of trees. I m surprised they are still there and not gone the same way as the mighty firs that used to stand up at the Ropewalk. No doubt there was a good reason why they were chopped down sad# I might be a bit sentimental - but what right do we have to chop down trees that are so old? With regards to the Ropewalk trees - if it was a case of the infamous heath and Safety (which in most cases appears to plague our lives these days) - then grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
