@Treve, i thought they lived up the lane from Joppa near the airport. I maybe wrong.

So did I; but that memory dates back a few decades.

'up from Joppa' was later on. The Drewitt's did some design work for them, which ended up on my drawing board.

Ethel Julia Rodway-Barnes married Thomas Craske Rising at Basford (Notts) 1933.
She was daughter to William Rodway-Barnes, Head and Teacher, landscape painter. Her mother was Mary Ethel Holmes, also a teacher (married in Great Grimsby in 1907)
