Taycraig

Busy taycraig with "steam on deck"
Must have been before 1936, when she was wrecked. Other than that I don't know. Initially I thought that China Clay was being loaded, however from the quay view it seems to be discharging a cargo in baskets. The stevadore returning with an empty basket seems have a coalmans "hoody" on his head - guess it's coal.

Another good and useful photo of this ship, Interested because my grandfather was on her in mid 1920s. He was engaged at St Ives and discharged at Appledore. He crewed on many coal boats during his 40+ years at sea, so the cargo on the above could very well be coal.
