Cross outside the Penlee Museum, 1977

This cross which bears the name of Penzance's claim to an ancient son in King Ricatus, used first to stand in a field where St John's Hall stands, then at the Market House, then Morrab Gdns., and finally, Penlee Park. Mind you, even now it has been moved to the other side of the building as has the entrance to the Penlee Museum.
