I can't remember how long this shop has been in town, but Little Luvers was a shop that specialised in baby ware, prams and pre school toys and learning products. Today the shop was closed and stock removed.

Excellent memory treeve... the order was correct as well. Voda phone being the first mobile phone shop to trade in Penzance. Didn t it use to be Western Radio s or was that further down the street?
Yes, of course Western Radio after Knees, I used to spend time in there - I was building and repairing transistor radios, as well as building a superheterodyne valve radio. Oh yes, and I repaired valve guitar amplifiers (Marshall etc).
Got a tremelo/reverb amp in there, based on a very weak spring and electronics; all electronic now, of course, but I don t think it is as good as the old system. I then branched out into electronic organ circuitry, started with valve modulators, and square wave generators and so on... Mad fool ....
Hybrids began a while ago, but I have heard valve amps have returned as they do give a much richer, rounder and clearer sound; Try and play an old LP on a superhifi digi system and it sounds completely artificial - bring back the Dansette !!
The March of the Triodes ..... I think I have finally disposed of my store 50 or so of new valves. Of course another thing about valves is that they do not respond to EMPs, so if your neighbour drops The Bomb because you music is not to their tastes, the amp continues working. Probably louder than the explosion....
