I may be wrong but I think the Lamorna Pottery is now owned by a Bermudan gentleman by the name of Rego! My husband and I visited the pottery some years ago and were surprised to find him there and when my son and his wife were in Cornwall more recently he was still running the pottery. Perhaps someone can confirm that he is still there?
West Country : Living Guide.. 'The present owner of the Pottery, Bermudian-born Ozzie Rego and his partner Andrea Bennetts have developed the Garden Restaurant where you can enjoy specialities such as Bermuda Fish Chowder or award-winning Cream Teas. You can relax in the garden surrounded by woodland or in the large conservatory. '
Thanks for that info Treeve, good to know that there is still a little bit of Bermuda in deepest Cornwall!!! We will be in PZ in September so, if we have time after wedding celebrations, we might pop by and see him to check if his Bermuda Fish Chowder is as good as mine!
