So I was living in Mousehole at the time and decided what a gas it would be to hold a music festival on the local rocks to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the 1595 Spanish invasion of the village. I thought the locals were an 'Any excuse for a party' bunch but it met with some dissent. I still had a lot to learn.
