West Cornwall Hospital c1958. The main entrance was moved later in the 1970s further down the road. oddly though the hospital main entrance had 13 steps to the first floor and no disabled access. It wasn't until the 1990s that the entrance was moved to the rear of the building and a flat street...

On 3 May 1964 'The Cornubian' steam special prepares to leave Penzance,described then as the last steam passenger train to keave there.

An unidentified 'Castle 'class loco. backs it's train out of Penzance towards the sidings at Ponsandane.

Not a good 'photo but I hope of interest.The vintage loco. was at the station on a date in February 1961 with an exhibition train publicising the forthcoming Westward ITV service.
