As part of their ongoing digitisation project, part of the Morrab Library Photographic Archive is now available online:

    http://photoarchive.morrablibrary.org.uk/

Already there are over 2,000 images digitised of the approximately 15,000 that the archive holds.

A particularly nice feature is the interactive map, which places a map pin at the location a photo was taken (where geolocational information is available), enabling users to zoom in on a specific area and preview relevant images.

Most images are available at a resolution of around 800px and copyright is held by the Morrab Library, although I'm given to understand that many images will be available under some form of Creative Commons license eventually.

The online archive is likely to be updated at approximately monthly intervals, to include newly digitised assets.

    Enjoy! :)
