Unload on the crossing

This the rest are selfish.... This guy stops his lorry every week right on top of the Market Jew Street zebra. He was a little annoyed that I was able to capture this image.... One woman was nearly knocked down as the car sped past the lorry.... Tell me this is acceptable???
I will never forget an occasion years ago, when a car was parked by what is now Boots. There was a restriction then, as now. A policemen was standing there, and Barry Sisley spoke to him about this parked car; the excuse was that it was some bigwig in town (I will not name the name); so Barry reported it privately to Truro. There is a raging growth of selfishness to the detriment of others. Young or disabled, fit or not, we are all at the mercy of these people.

As the car sped past the lorry Surely this was an act of selfishness too? When approaching a crossing it s always sensible to proceed with extreme caution whatever the situation. I m not condoning the parking of the lorry but they do have a job to do and I m sure the driver did it as quick as he could.

I agree that the speeding car has a blame proportion in this. The driver should have recognised the hazard and approached with care. However there is no escaping the fact that parking on top of a zebra is a no no and as a professional driver he should have known better. In this instance the road was clear and it wasn t apparent why he chose to park their when there was plenty space before the zig zags. Although I sympathise with lorry drivers... you have to agree that this is less than professional....

many moons ago there was a vehicle, plate number RL9999 and they parked where ever they wanted.....any one remember ????

I saw this numberplate on an ambulance in Manor Way... I m being serious... I ll try and get a picture to upload
