This driver tooted her horn when she reached the white van which was wating for the van beyond it to finish unloading. I'm not sure whether it was in frustration or she'd spotted a friend and wished to announce her illegal presence in a so called traffic free zone.
In the previous picture there is a gent on crutches and this one there are two, would not this mis-use of a pedestrian walk way warrant the presence of police
Well you'd think so. It seems to be on Saturdays there is a voluntary police presence in Causewayhead who appear to actually exercise some responsibility towards keeping the entrance gate shut. It would appear that they have more discretion, initiative and enthusiasm for their job than the paid officers. Oh, and then there's the skateboarders you can hear from the top of the street as they thunder on down, not much fun for those who may be disabled and hard of hearing.
