Sunset from the Jolly Rover II

Treeve - I took this photo whilst out on a sunset sail on the Jolly Rover II when we were visiting Key West last April.

We have Tropical Storm Sean heading our way at the moment and I have just read the latest forecast and the National Hurricane Centre are forecasting that it could become a hurricane tomorrow. It's closest point of approach to us is Friday morning by which time we hope it will have been downgraded to a Tropical Storm again. Hurricane season ends at the end of November but it is very unusual to experience a hurricane this late in the season. Oh the perils of living in Hurricane Alley!!!

A good reminder for those remembering the Ash Wednesday Storm and the Blizzards of 1891 and 1947, we are so lucky here :)
