This building replaced some fine old buildings, including Chirgwins; it housed the Pearl Assurance Office, with The Gas Showroom and Jenta Print (an extremely useful shop, sadly missed) and clothes shop, Number Seven.
All gone for a pint ... the building was converted to the Tremenheere.
