Pavement Pirates in Alverton Street

Seen here every day on double yellows, loaded/unloading, holding up the traffic.
This store has access from the car park at the rear and can easily use that. Well spotted rrrrrichie

The van is always here round about 4pm ish, when the traffic coming up from MJS is especially heavy,

A reminder that inconsiderate parking is nothing new; selfishness and disregard for safety, although wide spread, is not a new disorder of inhumanity.
15th December 1945 at 10 to 1. My mother writes that she was hit on the right shoulder by a grey lorry GRL 762, a girl driver, passing a stationary car outside of Beckeleg's (that was a bakers). It was witnessed by Joan Forward (my aunt) and Lesley Edwards - Road Sweeper, and reported to the constabulary.
