Not sure what category to upload this to so I did both shops and Pavement pirates.
Honestly, is this really good enough!
There is a 15 meter area on the other side of the statue that would have been more appropriate. On the other side of the statue is no parking and not suitable for pedestrians.

On the one hand it is saving resources by temporarily blocking the pavement whilst awaiting collection; on the other it just adds to the general disarray and squalid appearance of the town, not a lot better than when the slabs were originally laid (ok so there aren't any slaughterhouses, and fish markets).
