I have to say that the men are doing a grand job. It is really tough work getting all that off the garden without damaging the ground and grass. Well done. I was there this week at low tide to get as many pictures as I could of the remains of the old seawall, and the state of the beach profile. What is remarkable is that the clay base is now exposed in parts. The lower beach is now near level with sand alone, the tide now rushes in. It allows the ocean wave tube to get closer to shore; a breakwater has been planned since 1832 .. we are still waiting.
