Newlyn Harbour 19??

This is the biggest and best my scanner will do, the original picture is2.25andquot; x 4.125andquot;.
Is this OK Treve?
That is much better thanks ... I have enlarged it to 2048 x 1214. I can see there are ten fishing vessels and all of the wartime design, earliest 1935. Interesting. Also it looks as if the ship ends in ..ORCE (force).

I have now a list of ships ending in FORCE, I will then be able to identify when each one was built then sunk/destroyed/broken up and to compare with details in the picture. May take me a while...

Of some certainty is the fact as wellb1931 has pointed out is the lack of Gwavas Estate, completed in 1937. Trevessa was completed in 1934, I suspect this includes even Excellent or her friends, it appears there are some Lowestoft or Fowey vessels. The other thing is the lettering of the ship is too widely spaced to be anything other than FORCE; the one built 1917 but renamed Force in 1932 she lasted until 1947. So it looks as if it is 1935-1936.

I enlarged a portion of the picture of the nearest vessel I could not make out the numerals but the letters were LT so maybe it
was of Lowestoft registration.........

This must be earlier than 1930's as there is no sign of Gwavas Estate. You should at least see the tops of the houses from this position. When was Gwavas estate built 1930?1929?
