Market Jew Street

A colourmaster postcard post marked 1977
It's a small word welb. I have this card in my collection of Penzance postcards. That is my mother in the peach dress walking down the steps off the terrace.

@CW - in that case, you may also have one from the early 70s which has my grandfather leaning on the rails, further up nearer the Davy statue.

Quite possible, I will have a trawl through to see what I can find. Are ther any other distinguising items in the picture?

@ CW - all I can remember is that he was leaning on the railings in front of what is now that jewellery shop (or perhaps a bit further down). He was wearing an overcoat and flat cap, looking towards The Star (one of his haunts!). Again, from memory, I think the shot looked like it was taken from either the top of the PO or perhaps where Poundsaver is now. Think it was around 1970 - 72.
