Market Jew Street

It's a small word welb. I have this card in my collection of Penzance postcards. That is my mother in the peach dress walking down the steps off the terrace.

That would give some info as to the year it was taken and
a real keep-sake too....

@ - in that case, you may also have one from the early 70s which has my grandfather leaning on the rails, further up nearer the Davy statue.

Quite possible, I will have a trawl through to see what I can find. Are ther any other distinguising items in the picture?

@ - all I can remember is that he was leaning on the railings in front of what is now that jewellery shop (or perhaps a bit further down). He was wearing an overcoat and flat cap, looking towards The Star (one of his haunts!). Again, from memory, I think the shot looked like it was taken from either the top of the PO or perhaps where Poundsaver is now. Think it was around 1970 - 72.
