Yes a great shame. If it was there now, it would add to the feel of the area. Shame that the Pullman Carriages went too

I mean you know, why weren't the carriages saved and placed further down or somewhere to preserve them? How long had they resided there for?

I think the carriages were eventually taken by a charity or trust and have since been restored. But as you'll remember they were used for living accommodation for many years and a squat near the end. I'll try and find out more on this

Well I'm happy to hear they've been restored. I'd prefer them to be still here though
