Madron Carn and my dog Kye!

Taken in 2004 featuring Kye our rescue dog jumping in after the stick.... the stick will be retrieved at all costs!!

Kye sadly passed away in 2008.... a year ago this month.
Oh and no this isn't a photo Shop image... it's how it was taken.
aww he was a great family pet....I remember having this as my desktop picture/background...sticks or stones no matter how BIG he will find them and bring them back!!...

Excellent picture - well captured!
The death of a 'pet' (I say 'pet', but we regard ours as family members - part of our pack) tears at the soul for a long time. I hope you had many happy years together after you rescued him.

That looks like part of the water works just passed Boscathnoe? Is it this place Steff? Great 'frozen' pic :)

What would you call Madron Carn BoP? I've had a google at it from above and the only water nearby I can see is at Boscathnoe...

It's marked on the OS maps as "Trengwainton Carn", although I've never heard it called that by anyone local. I've marked the area here:

Ah, thanks. Yeah, everyone I know calls it Madron Carn, but I did see notices up there when they started getting rid of the rhododendron plants which said it was Trengwainton Carn. Doesn't roll off the lips easily enough for me!
Can you get to that water easily? There doesn't seem to be a footpath near...

There's a track that leads in from the northwest (top left in the picture) but the last time I went there it disappeared into some very watery ground; I'm not certain that it's meant for public access in any case.
