Lariggan corner

Alexandra Terrace, with Mann's Fields; bottom of picture is the river, with the old arched bridge. As you can see not a stream of traffic then, right edge of picture shows the pool grounds (before the Boating Pool as present) A little to the left of the shelter was the Dairy. The tennis courts so pristine compared to today. I think this was 1947.

@ Treeve....I believe it was Hoskings dairy at the foot of Larrigan hill on the edge of what was
a putting green now the boating pool also take note of the grass bank by the footpath to Newlyn,
there were palm tree's on that spot when I was a kid....many moons ago !!
 
It was Hoskings, indeed, forgot to mention it. A picture has just come to light (Penlee collection).
