I saw him charging up there today on his electric bike, he was a little oblivious of the traffic coming down towards him. A cyclist pushing his bike up past William Rogers was most amazed to see this ton-up guy go past at speed, and a car had to slow down to let him through/avoid a collision.
I simply do not get it - why own a vehicle, take tests, pay for fuel, oil etc and blatantly break the law? It is not just an arbitrary law to annoy the populous, it is there to protect and offer some form of control for EVERYONE s benefit. There seems to be this irrational ongoing dispute between certain people and the police - they are (or rather should be) doing their job. Just who do they think they are to be placing themselves above the law and placing everyone else s health and peace of mind in the bin? Self, self, and anything left Self.
