Tell me if I am wrong please ... does a steering column turn of itself? The forward wheels are set at a turning curve, which tells me the car was being manoeuvred into a space that was not there.
Looking at the marks on the edge of the wall, I wonder if this is the result of reversing into position? There does not appear to be enough room behind to have entered this position with those wheels at that angle.
Looking at the angle, the van that was behind it and the aomunt of passenger side hanging over the wall I assumed it was a case of 'did I put the hand brake on?' ooopps!!! He ran off back into the hotel before I could ask how????
