Cross country

Cross country running was taken very seriously at Lescudjack School.
Picture supplied by Neville Brown with kind permission from Mr Cock (headmaster)
Great picture. Notice the school huts in the Rec behind the hedge. This hill is now a road.

That right. Those huts use to be the woodwork room and Tech drawing when I attended the school. ::1:

When I did cross-country with Mark and a few others, we used to go back to your mums Steff, for a coup of tea! lol er...sometimes! ::15:

I remember taking part in the school cross country, used to run through Treneere, up across the three fields behind Trannack farm, past Trevaylor, through another farm (can t remember the name of it) and back round to the school. Wouldn t be able to do it these days with health and safety sad# but it has good memories.

The same route I took too Whitegirl. I can t remember the name of the farm either, but the track came out at in Treneere lane. Its still there, but a little more overgrown than when we were using it for cross country. Or was that the route out of Treneere lane we took to get the cuppa tea!!!! laugh#

Can anyone remember the name of the farm? I was one of the quiet girls back then, lol. Did the cross country run then headed straight back to school, didn t stop off for a cuppa anywhere sad# was too good for my own good! LOL

Im sooo bad laugh# I know the entrance was a bit further down the road, not that far from the entrance to Trannack Farm. I can see it now in my minds eye.....If you don t get the answer soon, I ll go and find out for you.

If im not mistaken, this pic shows my two younger brothers. The blond guy in front and immediatly behind him is my other one (short dark hair). Like I said, I could be mistaken ::6:
