Antarctic

This is from a dream that I had when I was ten years old; I was a snow eagle, with three young in the high peak of the rocks to the left, I had to get food, somehow for them; I had to fly over the ice to the mountain ridges in the distance, and a violent storm blew up. Somehow I returned to the eyrie, rather worse for wear, but I did it.
Surely you were too young to be smoking that stuff?
All joking aside, a great collection, treeve; I've really enjoyed these. As someone who struggles to draw a straight line with a pencil and ruler, I admire your talent.

Thank you very much ... we all have struggled against the odds, having been driven by a demanding and not inderstanding 'teacher' or under peer pressure, as well as ridicule from fellow students ... I have had it all. It pours out into this modern world, where young impressionable ladies are swept in the maelstrom that is 'accepted' appearance and weight/shape etc. To BE ourselves is extremely hard and requires a lot of climbing and independence. Throwing away the straightjacket of society allows the freedom of the mind to direct the pencil/brush where YOU want it to go, not to waiver in case someone else might think it will only be wrong.
It helped me in my job to be able to see the end results in my head, LONG before 3-dimensional CAD was invented, it has now helped me to pull out the drawer of memories and put them on canvas.
