The Catholic Church, Rosevean Road

St Michael the Archangel slaying a dragon (i.e. overcoming evil). He is the recognised Patron Saint of Cornwall, along with St Petroc and popular saint and patron of tinners, Piran. We are not easily satisfied in Cornwall, hence the three patrons! St Michael is said to have appeared on the Mount to fishermen out in the bay in 495 AD.
The shame about it all is that churches now have to lock the doors and are alarmed to prevent thefts...... what is happening today sad#
