Carn Gort - 5April2010

The English Heritage site which contains Faugen Round, believed to be an Iron-Age bi-vallate hill fort (meaning two ditches). It is believed to have been built between 500 BC and 0AD. The two outer walls can still be seen; these would have formed the rampart defences of an historic village made of roundhouses and under the leadership of a local nobleman.
Where did I read that this is also known as Carn Fort (Not Carn Gort, incidentally!)? 'Faugen' though spelt thus by English Heritage, should of course be 'Faugan'.
