Alverton Sunset

Alverton river, must you keep rolling
Flowing into the night
People so noisy, makes me feel dizzy
Street light shines so bright
But I dont need no friends
As long as I gaze on Alverton sunset
I am in paradise
Every day I look at the world from my window
But chilly, chilly til the evening time
Alverton sunsets fine ....

This is no dead end street ... Well, you really got me there, and now I will have to think all day and all of the night, but I am told that I am a well respected man, I won t get tired of waiting for you as I am off to see my friends ... I hope it will be another sunny afternoon.

Well, I m not like everybody else. Do you remember Walter? Thank you for the days ... it s time we organised the Village Green Preservation Society

Oh, I was going to ask you to Come Dancing - I suppose I ll have to ask Lola instead (on second thoughts, maybe not...)

listen here Funny Face, we are all God s Children .... no more Mr Pleasant, I am losing my Harry Rag.

Victoria was not amused ...she had problems with her Two Sisters, Polly is special She s Got Everything; I will ask her to Love Me Til The Sun Shines. Oi, King Kong ... I m not Starstruck with Wonder Boy. There was a puff of Big Black Smoke, presumably the Death of A Clown; oh Rats, Susannah s Still Alive (the Brainwashed, Mindless Child of Motherhood).

To close David Watts Autumn Almanac, he remembers The Way Love Used To Be and is sending a new Picture Book to Mr Bush to colour in.
