Nice One - I have been collecting a number of photographs at various stages of shingle displacement, I think I have enough to cover pretty well all of the stones used in the old sea wall (except those used on the memorial, a very good use for them). Fascinating to work out the lie of the land- the old clay base is still there, as shown on the recent storm shift; managed to record most of it, before it was re-set at the head of the beach. Gives a very good idea of how the old dunes were formed where we now have a promenade.
