7 riders on horse ride from Land's End to John O' Groats. Leaving 2

That is my mother's inscription on the reverse of this.
I have been unable to find any information about this End-to-End, who the riders were etc.; does anyone here know anything?
I'm confident it is Penwith but not sure where. Does anyone recognize the location?
This looks like the Cliff, Chyandour, to me, if I m not mistaken. It may be that Lannoweth Road is the next road down left, and off to the right.

This is on Chyandour Cliff, just before the turn up to The Coastguard Houses; there is a new block of flats above this wall now. Very interesting photograph.

Yep Chyandour Cliff.... but isn t this area known as The Cliff and Chyandour Cliff further down the road?

From what I have seen on old maps the whole stretch from the station to Chyandour is Chyandour Cliff. There was one building named The Cliff; there has been a lot of name changes lately over confusion between places. I am trying to sort it out, as it affects some documents that I am trying to read, and they do not tally with present names.

um I see. I just looked at three maps and one says the Cliff, the other says the Clife and the third says Chyandour Cliff

Mine cover 1842, 1875, 1876, 1908, and 1936 and they all say Chyandour Cliff from end to end. Everything changes though ... in my day LOL meant Lots of Love ... now it means Laugh Out Loud .. I though that was what a laugh was otherwise is is a smirk, snigger, snort, guffaw ...

Nope it s a newly discovered footpath in Penzance.... I ve just had a phone call and will collect the pictures next week. I ve never heard of it before but it is in the Alma Terrace area
