The inner harbour is pretty full nowadays, so nice to see a more tranquil photo.Hopefully that berth will be available again soon, there are moves afoot to get the Vega moved to an estury at Falmouth.
This was when Penzance was a viable port - those days have gone. The only ships that are viable now are Gry Maritha and Scillonian III. Sure there is much of value in the harbour and a lot of work is on the way, as well as a lot of work in the Dry Dock, but, no cargo flow from out of the county. Even the Scillonian III and Gry Maritha are under threat from the new improved beach eating schemes afoot
