Knacked Shop of Heamoor - 1

Poltair Terrace.
I seem to recall this shop belonging to an electrician friend of my parents many years ago but it has an ice-cream advertisement in the window, so perhaps it was last a general store. Does anyone recall the name and nature of this shop?
When I was a lad and delivering bread on me bike around Heamoor for Mrs Bennett s General Store across the road, that shop used to repair and sell radios, televisions and the like. I m going back 46, 47 years mind you.

I have a vague memory of it being something similar, quaystreetkid. Just going past and one of my parents saying That s so-and-so s shop ; so-and-so being a school-friend of one of them. I didn t realise it was that long ago but it is feasible. Thanks for you comments.

The TV shop was Joslings, I remember as a 12 year old (in the 50 s) having our first TV off him, he was there for many many years, then his son took over and then moved to CWH, and then moved I believe to Long Rock Ind Est.

Ronnie Josling was that? I remembered that name but didn t mention it as I was unsure. I think he went to school with one or other of my parents.
