I'm unsure of the year..the weighbridge seems to still there and the old Mabbots store
is still roof-less and the western national are using the station yard at a guess I would say
'49..50 around that mark
I think that although it was used as a popular short cut there was never a right of way between the GWR gate behind the mortuary and the end of the sea wall.
