Not sure when we had a Ship of the Line here, but she is three decks and that should be a 90 gun ship of around 1805, but she has just 70 gun ports; a 90 gun ship would be described as a second rate ship, which then dictated the pay rate of the sailors who worked her; the rate paid, gave the term second rate ship, hence our modern term of first rate or second rate . I do not know the artist of this mural.
