Superb. I hadn't spotted this one. Thought it must be Middle Tregerest at first but searching StreetView I see it is Higher. The churn doesn't appear to have been there last summer though.
Thanks for capturing another one before it got away. Should have remembered this must have passed it hundreds of times on the 'bus.
God, it surley brings back memories of being on the farm at Bosvenning Newbridge, and going down the lane with Uncle Athlestone with the horse and cart to put the churns on the stands at the end of the lane..........magical memories.
I suppose that being purely functional structures, most will decay through want of maintenance as they no longer serve any practical purpose. That's a pity in itself, as not only are they a reminder of a bygone way of life, to me they look very much a part of a farm's furniture .
