The Priory Church, St Michael's Mount - 18May10

The stained-glass rose window at the rear of the church where the organ also is.
The organ was split into two sections, I believe in around 1906, to allow this view of the window ... did you get any pictures of the organ?
John Marsh (28 August 1782) ‘being in London having found Mr Avery the organ builder and went with him to see a large organ making by him for Capt. Lemon, at 2, Bryanstone Street, Portman Square. Col Lemon [Truro MP] then sold it to Sir John St. Aubyn, it was taken down and sent into Cornwall 1790 and erected at the Mount St Michael’s Mount Castle Chapel in 1791 by J. Avery’. In 1906and#8722;7 it was rebuilt by the Positive Organ Company.
