The 75th anniversary of the Savoy Cinema

Remember those ladies very well. How times change, they wouldn't recognise the foyer nowadays.

I used to spend ages choosing what i was going to take in whilst watching a film, the foyer looks nothing like the above now, can't believe its their 100th Birthday xx HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

I remember my first film there was Pinocchio when I was very young. I remember the half time break - had my first Cornetto there! Last film I saw was Skyfall a few weeks ago. I think Penzance would be greatly diminished without the cinema. Long may it last!
