In memory of Robert Morton Nance who was born on April 10th, 1873 and died on May 17th, 1959 - Mordon, Barth Mur Gorseth Kernow 1934-1959 - His achievements were made possible by .... Nance was a major Cornish Language revivalist, a linguist, composer and playwright and he wrote a number of dictionaries single-handedly and without the use of a computer of course. It was he who founded the Old Cornwall Societies. He actually died during the ceremony of the Gorseth in 1959 over which he was presiding as Grand Bard.
