Promenade, Penzance - You could have fooled me!

One of the weirdest postcards of Penzance Promenade I have ever come across. Would you agree with me that this is a concocted view? The back has peeled off so I don't know who was responsible for printing this. There seems to have been a bit of superimposing here as well as a little help from an artist!
You have the pattern number and the typeface to go on, I guess, but does it matter - just goes to show, nonsense existed in those days as well. I would say this is entirely an artist s rendition following a bad day, not having really experienced the worst the Bay can throw at anyone.

I have this picture too. I will check tommorrow and try to find out who produced it. It reminds me of something from a scene from Ghostbusters invading the promenade.

I have checked and my picture is black and white and appears to br original and untouched. It is definitely the same photograph so I would suggest that your card Treeve is an example of poor artistic license and over indulgence with drab colours when tinting. I have another picture taken further along the promenade nearer the Queens. Both cards are part of the Frith series. One has been posted dated at March 1907
