Penwith's giant cousin of the Pipers in Brittany [See my photos of the Pip

I visited this in 1997 at Locmariaquer, near Carnac in Brittany. For comparison with Cornwall's largest, the Boleigh 'Pipers', this huge menhir known as The Great Broken Menhir was constructed in four sections and is believed to have been toppled deliberately by man. Farmers destroyed ones bigger than the Pipers in Cornwall (One is recorded on the Lizard).
