Bought of ... Extraordinariphilous!!!! Take a look at Meeks Store just closed and being altered (with care) and at my pictures of the front as it is now with the old signs.... 13 and 14 Market Place ... Woow.
I had seen claims of Alfred Smiths being it its present site for so long, until I discovered Mr Olver had premises there on Clarence Street, and it simply did not add up. When I saw the name Olver on the sign of what was lately Meeks, the memory cells began to fire on all six cylinders, in view of my longtime interest in Mr Olver, and now you present the original shopfront. Rasta Man...
