Nanjizel and Mill Bay, south of Land's End

We walked down to Nanjizel about six weeks after Easter last year. Not a grain of sand in sight.

Funnily enough, some locals on the beach were saying that the sand had only just come back. Well, checking my pictures, I notice that we were there on 14th April last year (2009) and almost, strangely enough, the same time but most of my photographs show that there was a substantial amount of sand but definitely more boulders showing than usual if you go by this one:
