Mystery Photograph - darker

A darker copy of the mystery picture.
Something that I have found useful with banners and signs is to clip it, then paste as new image; then enlarge greatly, increase the contrast (+10) and darken the picture by -10 at a time; smoothing and reduction of noise can be helpful; but you will need to have scanned at the highest resolution possible, 8,000 dpi or so.

That is just what I tried with the banner in this picture, Treeve. But, as I suspected, the definition of the posted image is insufficient for this sort of analysis

On this picture I see two emblems on the top line (crowns?), and the word established clearly; can you make out the year?

Location the old Wesleyan Sunday school at St. Just, opposite what used to be the Seabird resaurant. Possibly the annual sunday school treat. Denanmor, I am 100% certain of the location. To the left of the banner is the top gate of the Junior school. Surely tpp can make this out now. The small paned window under banner would have been Sheila,s sweet shop of modern day. (1970 s) Door to left of window and sun blind to left of door.
