Many thanks, HH and Sparky for your kind comments. I should like to say the quay has been repaired but the opposite is true! Not long before a bigger set of storm waves breaches it entirely. It seems strange to think of Ricky and the Layabouts playing there on the end of the pier on Good Friday in about 1963! Electrocution would have been the case today!

I thought Electrocution was Speech Therapy??
