Ridgeo Mill,(site of Meadary) stood down the lane at the left hand turning facing up towards the St. Ives back road and the carne, before the turning which takes you out to the school and church on the right . as you pass through Gulval. Built of red brick with i think a square chimeney stack. Remember it to about early eighties being used as a Meadary till demolished for houses
I first got to know it in the late 60 s, Trevor lawrence ran it for a while after Kitty, then run by John ???, then by My friend Phill King, I played there a lot in the 70 s ended up in Goeff Jelberts hands, and the story goes that not getting the planning he needed he pulled it down and sold the land for development. It had a lot of character and was supposed to be haunted by Nuns.
