Globe and Ale House

Yes the Globe Inn Top of Chapel Street, which is off to the left of this photo, not the narrow street in the photo further over out of shot, in chapel street was the Egyption House, and further down, (in my day anyway) is the Turks head Pub which was in my day used greatly by the Foriegn students as their watering hole, both pubs have in recent year been modernised and as such in my opion ruined, the globe in thise days was called just that, The Globe inn.
