Cats certainly know how to relax! Hope you don't mind me sharing (not trying to upstage your beautiful B/W pics, Tabtab!) a couple of pics of our two ginger cats, Polly and Paddy in the 90s. Jan and I speak fluent Catese by the way: a good welcoming trill and a plaintive mew and most cats respond and approach you if you stand still!
Not at all, tpp! Yep, I use the trill both at home with ours and outside when I meet new cats too. I love it when an unknown cat shows its trust in you and comes over to be stroked. Our tortoise shell has quite a wide vocal range of 'meeps' and squeaks which over time I've been able to translate and understand.
